The following laboratory has been established according to the norms of AICTE for pharmaceutical education in the DEPARTMENT OF PHARMACOLOGY: - Pharmacology Laboratory with preparation room (including Toxicology, Clinical Pathology, Human Anatomy, Physiology and Health Education)
The laboratory is well equipped with all necessary instruments to carry out pharmacological experiments. This well equipped laboratory helps to train the students in practical studies of anatomy, physiology and health education, pharmacology and chemotherapy, bioassays of various drugs, etc. The advanced pharmacology laboratory is specially designed to carry out animal model experiments for analgesic, anti-histaminic, anti-pyretic, anti-hepatotoxic, anti-ulcer, anti-inflammatory activity testing of known and new drugs of chemical and herbal origin. |
Animal house
Department has well ventilated, air conditioned, hygienic animal house which is well designed as per the CPCSEA guideline. Animal house contains various animals like guinea pig, rat, mice, rabbit etc.
